Hey.
This keypad is pretty weird. What is this steel plate stuck onto the keypad? Can it be taken off? When you replace the keypad do you reuse that plate?
If you can take that plate off, do you have pictures or video of how it looks?
If you do repairs or need any parts for blackberries please let me know as I am a wholesaler and supply to a lot of cell phone repair shops worldwide. Feel free to call or email.
Beware, he tells you everything “just slips off”. None of the mentioned parts that are supposed to “just slip off” actually “just slipped off” … 2 parts of mine almost broke cuz I thought it was supposed to easily come off and I was becoming forceful with it, such as the lcd screen, and the mother board coming out of the frame. He also does not warn you about being careful putting it back in because i broke my sd card this way trying ot force the motherboard back in.
Just makes me slightly suspicious that you are telling us parts come off very easily so that you purposely get us to accidentally break our parts so that you can get more business with your wholesale business of BB parts.
and keypad broke too because I was under the impression that it just slips off and i used force to get it to come off, then I realised it is supposed to be attached to the metal part underneath it which needs to be slightly pried out of the casing get it out properly
hi mate, fantastic video, used it to take apart my 9105, the charging port has broken and is costly to get replaced, i see you sell blackberry parts and was wondering if you have any complete blackberry pearl 9105 motherboards
thanks
Hi, thanks for the video, i have a blackberry 9100 that was working fine, until i decided to to a factory restore, after that the screen is black, the phone turns on but don’t see anything in the screen. i took it apart with your instructions, cleaned the contacts and re-assembled it but same problem continues, any ideas? should i buy a new screen>?
Thanks for the video, I was trying to fix the screen that kept peeling off but I ended up cracking the LCD
I didn’t realize you’re from the Vancouver area, because I just bought a new Pearl
hiii there, if can please tell me, how is the 3G gonna benefit me more than the 2G ? cause i work in an international company and i wanna know if 3G matters in international calls, thank u.
Great, thanks, was able to remove the screen of my 9105 and remove all the dust from underneath it. Simple when it’s shown in such an easy to follow guide.
Regards
Brian
